The Jolly Tanners

An old piece of Mid Sussex history, originally built in 1684 as a coaching inn offering a stop for travellers on the 7-hour journey from London to Brighton. Since purchasing the pub in 2023, Matsim have restored and revitalised the pub—adding a bright new orangery, improving accessibility with a redesigned bar, and refreshing the interiors. This has given it a new lease of life while preserving the traditional features. It now attracts visitors from all over Sussex.

After an extensive programme of works, Greentrees now stands as a refined and luxurious wedding venue, proudly hosting numerous wedding celebrations each year.
